Has anyone else seen the awful goodness that is The Room?

On April 1th at midnight Adult Swim played the movie as a joke. I caught the second half and was baffled/captivated at what the hell i was watching. Tucked in the back of my mind since, something reminded me of it last week to where i looked it up and then purchsed it for $8 off of Amazon. After giving it a full viewing, i have to say that this is the best worst movie i have ever seen.

From Wiki:
"The Room (2003) is an independent film written and directed by its star, Tommy Wiseau, who is also credited on screen as both the movie's producer and executive producer. It is the melodramatic story of a love triangle between a man, his fiancée, and his best friend... Wiseau promotes the film as a black comedy and insists that the “unintentional” humor is intentional, although audience members generally doubt this."

From its terrible acting, ridiculous script, horrible pacing, and inexplicable plot holes, The Room is as funny a watch as anything ive ever seen. If Wiseau intended on making this a funny D film then he is a genius, but there is no way i believe this, either. Everything is simply too bad to have been thought of

Do yourself a favor and rent or buy this movie.

you need to find the original promotion for the movie. It was completely serious. it was only after it got so much shit that he started advertising it as a black comedy. but it was completely serious.

Except for the end, it looks like it's supposed to be a serious trailer. My god, what a pile of shit!

There was an article in some entertainment magazine I read that described how MANY big names in film and comedy and directing have cultishly become fans of the movie, including David Cross and Seth Rogan. It's very popular amongst Hollywood's movers and shakers, because of how bad it is. There was even some big billboard advertisement for it.
