Iron Man & Wolverine Anime Trailers Impress

Good God, where to fucking BEGIN...
Um...that Wolverine trailer is BALLS. We have a bishonen "Wolverine" fighting Ninjas ineffectually, leaping outside, posing for the camera, and then fighting a giant samurai demon soldier...thing? Uh...it's...it's just...it's just BAD. It's offensively Japanese. That guy doesn't look like Wolverine! He doesn't even...HE ISN'T WOLVERINE! My god, he looks NOTHING like him, and...um...oh lord, I just can't. God, what's Iron Man gonna be like?

But why is Captain Glovel from Robotech fighting Tony Stark? In a mech suit?

I actually agree with the substance of what Rent said. Except I guess the Iron Man trailer didn't impress me - it just didn't make me go WTF like the Wolverine trailer did.

Keep in mind, I WAS comparing it to the Wolverine trailer. However, if the Japanese MUST rape my beloved Marvel characters, I can't say I mind them doing the one who uses a super-advanced mech suit. We all know how much the Japanese love their robot wars...

I thought they both looked pretty cool. Obviously the wolverine one would be a far departure from the normal universe where I guess wolverine is a japanese man fighting demons in the shogun era?
Are these going to just be movies or series?

Seriously, Wolvie is too tall, and yes, nothing like the comic. And does there have to be 45 seconds of fucking credits on these things?
The Iron Man one was ten times better, but I don't get the shipbound villian.
