One Piece - Some of the fruit power in this week's Shonen Jump is just, well, fruity. Phoenix Fruit? Magma Fruit? So like now you got 2 more guys who can turn into living fire like Ace even though no fruit power is supposed to be duplicated? What's next, Lava Fruit?

Gambling Emperor Legend Zero - Just when you think you've seen them all, I picked this one up which involved 21 guys have to figure out the square root of 2 accurate to the 10th decimal point in 25 minutes or they get killed by a crushing wall. The manga is actually surprising good if you can get beyond some of the rather premises for why they're doing all this. It's like some kind of horror reality show, I guess.

Silly name for a manga with a murder/puzzle plot! The japanese never run out of manga ideas.

Read Gambling Emperor Zero some more and did some research, apparently the author always writes about this stuff, it's always some Mafia that holds these whacky life and death math/logic combo games.

There's another scene where you got 3 guys in a room, and one guy is handcuffed to a tank that's being filled with water, and then the trick was that the room was an isoceles triangle with one its angle having 36 degree. The thing is I actually can understand what the heck they're doing, though it's really hard to see why anybody would be calculating the square root of 2 in a room with a crushing ceiling, even in the realm of fiction.
