So, what'd you think?

SPOILER ALERT (duh)

Well, I love the discussion Sasuke and Madara have been having and all they've been revealing about Itachi. But I was really confused/annoyed at the end. They all of a sudden just decided to reveal Taka and their goal of Konoha destruction without giving any sort of motive at all on Sasuke's part. It is implied that it's due to what they put his brother (and clan) through but at least give us SOME lead up to that.

I'm sure they'll flush it out more in later eps but that doesn't mean it was done well this time

That was his entire motivation. They used Itatchi to preserve their own peace which ultimately lead to his death and all the hardship Sasuke has gone through. Sasuke can't stand for Konoha to enjoy peace built on the suffering of his brother so he decides to declare war and tear it all down. Taka is just the group of ninja Sasuke was using to hunt down Itatchi, now their goal is to destroy Konoha.
