I hope this isn't a new trend for Naruto

Every time they get through an arc or even partial arc with a bit of a break they decide to go to filler. They finally get back to being as good as they used to be back in the day and they break it up every 20-25 episodes for no reason. Before they used to finish an arc at least, this time they didn't. For a while I had great Naruto and great Full Metal going, it was awesome.

At least Bleach's Zampaktou arc if FINALLY over. Holy shit that lasted for a long time and just didn't want to end.

Not entirely sure why Naruto falls into random filler anymore, manga is still 2 years or so ahead of the anime. I guess the Japanese audiences enjoy it or something. It would also explain why Bleach is still alive, because 60%+ of the episodes are filler, and one of the reasons I stopped watching it all together.

At least I have filler free One Piece for the most part.
