What does that say about me that I liked it.....

well it was better than the comic at least. But if you take the veiled racism and homophobia out of the shitty book you still end up with it just being a not quite as shitty as the book movie

I really dug the movie, saw it at a 12:05am showing with the GF.

I read the comic after seeing it, and didn't mind what they changed.

It was ok.

The changes from the comic were utter bullshit. It was still decent enough and the violence was pretty well done. They made it a lot less bloody, though, which I do have issues with. Violence without appropriate consequences fuck people up in the head. They took a lot of the spider-man aspect out of the movie where the world just keeps shitting on him but he still decides to do good things. This was just more about being kick ass. Which is good and all, but changes what I carried away from the comic.

Is it any better than the trailer makes it out to be? Because it looks kinda dumb to me.

Well it certainly doesn't try very hard to be smart but it certainly has some good moments.

Bah, fuck this one and wait for Scott Pilgrim.

No no no, this movie is awesome. It's fun, it's frantic, it's got comedy, drama, romance--it's very very good, and the action sequences are OUTSTANDING.
