Leslie Nielson is not confirmed; which is strange. Who could replace him? Steve Martin? Pffft..
Also no word if Zucker, Abrahams, and Zucker are involved.
Anyway, the original trilogy released around 20 years ago stands up well today. The second movie in the series remains my favourite comedy movie. I know that there's very little chance the new one could top it. How can you beat the lonely restaraunt scene from 2 and 1/2? Even so, I am VERY excited to see what they can do with this one. Hopefully just a quiet cast and crew rather than a new one. Leslie Nielson still looks the same age he did in the 50's.
