Plot?

I got a feeling of "meh" from watching this show. It's basically a show based around a dysfunctional family with a lot of heart. So far I haven't seen them doing anything remotely groundbreaking (other than maybe Emmy Rossum's breasts) so I probably won't be watching the next episode.

It does basically revolve around Fiona and the two boys Lip and Ian so far. Macy's character is like an interruption more than an actual main character I think.

@Shrinweck, I guess you read the gawker review too then eh? They basically said the same thing and how over-the-top most of the shit was. Yeah it was a bit over-the-top but also, it is a pilot. I honestly think nowadays you need to give a series a season to find itself.

Actually, no. And I feel a bit of shame, now. If people keep enjoying it I'll give it another chance.
