Sword Arts Online

Sword Arts Online (SAO) is a manga about a bunch of guys playing a virtual reality simulated MMORPG where if you die in the game you die in real life too, and nobody can leave the game until the game is beaten. I'm pretty convinced this manga is an explanation of why stuff like FF14 happens, since it shows that in Japan, MMORPGs are created without any respect to reality. Right now you got the main character fighting some boss with an officer in some uber guild, and they were wiping badly to a boss and the main character unleashes his true power by DUAL WIELDING, and apparently nobody in the entire MMORPG has ever seen someone DUAL WIELD, so clearly nobody has ever gotten past about level 10 in any MMORPG or just rolled a Rogue type class in a MMORPG at all.
The sad thing is that the manga attempts to pass some MMORPG lingo like people are 'canceling' into moves (even though no MMORPG really does this, that's more of a fighting game concept) but the author apparently isn't aware that everyone and their brother can dual wield in a MMORPG.
I mean I can at least buy it if the guy starts pulling out a third sword and wield it with his mouth like One Piece and that might actually be pretty uber in a MMORPG if you can wield 3 swords at the same time. This is apparently one of the examples of good story from Japan too. To be fair the story isn't bad but I'm not sure if I can take a story seriously in a MMORPG where only one person on the entire server knows how to dual wield.
Actually SAO reminds me a lot of Austin Powers when Dr. Evil talks about ONE MILLION DOLLARS except I don't think it's meant to be funny in the case of SAO.
