manga update 1/19

Another month where the only thing worth reading was Sealing of the God 2. Currently the heroes are playing kickball with enemy heads since their enemies all have Namek-like regeneration so you got to make sure they stay dead. In fact, looking at the behaviors of the alleged heroes, it's hard to tell who's supposed to be the good guys but then again the point of the story isn't really good versus evil, but rather two factions at war. I noticed that this is one of the few stories where the hero side actually outnumbers the enemy and makes good use of their numbers (army of 100K + 20ish strong guys versus 100 above average enemies + 5 leader like guys).
Liar Game reverts to the old "Nao fell for some devious plot because she was dumb, only Akiyama can save her now". At least, that's what it looks like right now. Since Liar Game has been saying Nao being like the true champion of the Liar Game I'd hope she'd actually do something on her own instead of going "Help me Obi-won Kenobi, you're my only hope" like she always did. We'll see how this current round resolves.
In HXH, Togashi appears to be losing a step when he revealed that Gin indeed purposely got hit by Leorio which any moron could've guessed. In fact I strongly advocated this is NOT the case because anybody could've saw that so it's unlikely something so simple can be a plot twist in HXH. Gin continues to have the most annoying fanbase, since as HXH described he's basically some kind of crazy guy who is halfway between a moron and a genius. His whole plan to defeat Pariston is 'surprise him with something unexpected' is kind of like 'defense wins championship', which Chidol correctly points out. Like Hisoka, Gin has the plot immunity that for some reason even major main characters do not get, but whatever dumb thing Gin does is always correct since he's one of the legendary Hunters. For the most part, Gin's plan turned out to be completely useless against Pariston and 2 of the Zodiacs risked their life to attempt to stop Pariston, but apparently Gin gets all the credit amongst the fans (not in the story, ironically).
Naruto is pretty much never ending. I don't think Sasuke will even show up for another year (real life time).
OP hopefully might get back on track after the stupid fishman island arc. It's hard to imagine things get worse.
Bleach is on a hiatus for 3 weeks. Not sure why it's needed, since Bleach has no plot to begin with.
Kuroko's basketball features the hook claw (apparently a move to grab rebounds) and the Invisible Shot. It should be renamed as "Ronja Rondo is my hero" since Kuroko is basically Ronja Rondo (a guard that can dribble well but can't shoot). I'm not even sure why Kuroko has a shooting special since he can't shoot to begin with, though the story claims he has some kind of limiter on or something that makes his accuracy 0% so now that it's off, he can actually make jumpers as a point guard. Again, the only PG I know of that can't make a jumper is Rondo, so it must be a tribute to him.
