Viz launches Shonen Jump Alpha.

Neat little attempt by Viz to get manga to NA people in a digital form ($1 for 1 chapter of Japan's 6 biggest manga).
The problem is they're still 2-3 weeks behind the actual manga releases in Japan.
Not really sure I understand why scanlation groups can pick up a copy of the manga and get it up in 1-2 days after it hits stands in Japan, and why big Viz has to wait 2 weeks, same deal with the some of the anime they release a week after the fact.
