This week's part pretty much removes HXH's status as the 'the thinking man's manga' or whatever cult status it has.

For a long time HXH feels a lot like what HXH's Meryem said regarding his power: "I am not a God, but I am the closest thing to him." or "My world will not be perfectly equal, but it is as equal as equal can be." There is no such thing as a manga without flaws but it's probably the closest thing to one without.

So for the election arc, you got Gin who wasted a lot of time with a standard "I totally figured out everything despite having no possiblity of figuring this out' but I guess we can put up with him. Then we got Alluka/Nanika the portable Dragonballs. Originally it is said that to get a wish from Alluka/Nanika you got to repay 3 wishes that scales to what the last person wished for. Although this seems open to abuse (wish for something and then just kill Alluka, don't have to worry about repaying especially if you wished for something like 'become a God') it seems like a reasonable limitation since the story requires a Godlike power right now.

Moving on Killua then revealed that Nanika can heal anybody without demanding any wish for compensation. Okay, so maybe the point is that it's only dangerous to use the portable Dragonballs for greedy stuff. If you're pure of heart and use it for positive things you'll never be punished. That's reasonable too.

And now this week it turns out Killua can make any number of wishes for absolutely free because he has the "Big brother bonus" and nobody else gets it. What's even more ridiculous is that you've a guy who carries around an infinite wish granting machine who is apparently afraid of his own brother, Ilumi, because Ilumi might mind control him and then he would be able to get unlimited wishes from Nanika (via the controlled Killua).

I mean, seriously, what the heck? How about WISH FOR MIND CONTROL IMMUNITY immediately. Wishing for becoming the strongest man in the world would work too. If you want to play safe, just wish for something like "Teleport anyone who thinks about doing bad things against me or Alluka" and nobody gets hurt. Don't want people find out you get infinite wishes? How about wish for 'erase people's knowledge of me having infinite wishes'? I mean I get that he says he doesn't want to use Nanika like some kind of portable dragonballs, but it's not like anyone else is going to treat Nanika any better, so why not wish for at least enough power to make sure nobody in the world could possibly threaten you? Heck, how about take one from Ducktales: wish for Nanika to lose his powers.

I mean what the heck did Gotoh and the rest of the Hunters died in trying to get Nanika out of the Z mansion now that it's revealed Killua could've just wished 'teleport us out of here', but he didn't want to look like he's taking advantage of Nanika, so it's totally okay 30 guys die paving a path of blood for him to walk out of the Z mansion with Nanika?
