Just got cancelled. Sucks because I was really liking this series with all of the story lines. Apparently it was because 3 horses died during production and that is why they are canning it.

I read about the horses, but its news to me that it is cancelled. Ugh! I was really liking this series, too. Specialists in the article i read did admit that horses, and especially race horses, are just THAT fragile and 3 deaths is common. But, put it front of hollywoodand the media and it is suddenly mistreatment of animals.

A pretty good article I just found that both acknowledges the frailty to race horses and also makes a point that we can't treat horses the way we used to in the olden days.
