Mrs Krabappel voice actress dies, character to be retired.

Marcia Wallace who voiced Mrs Krabappel has died at the age of 70. She had been a breast cancer survivor in the 1980's; although her cause of death is said to have been pneumonia and that she was still cancer free. In recent episodes of the Simpsons, Mrs Krabappel had married Ned Flanders.
Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground has also died at the age of 71.
