Star Trek Beyond & new TV series announced

Nothing much on the visual side for either except some leaked photos from the filming of Beyond which don't reveal much.
Alex Kurtzman left the film to work on the TV series. Simon Pegg wrote the film, and filming finished a couple weeks ago ; and it will be releasing July next year. The movie and the series won't be connected. That's about all the information available right now.
Looks like space adventures and sci-fi are making a huge come back since they almost disappeared about 6-7 years ago.
