I'm surprised Godfather is not on DVD yet. Anyone know where I can get info about its DVD release?

<div style='font: 11pt Modern; text-align: left; '>There isn't one. It's like Star Wars.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>And yet Lucas allowed Star Wars on laser disc(which I own). Go figure. Beta is better than laser disc.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>Beta is far better than the best VHS can offer. And lasr disc is inferior to DVD quality. I may have mispoken about bete being better than laser disc, but it's...oh hell.....it is better than laser disc(I just watched a chapter).</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Nope. Beta is better than VHS by far, you're right on that. But Laserdisc is WAY beyond any tape format (and CAN be done better than DVD, cause it doesn't use pixelated MPEG type compression).</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Blah. Maybe they'll release fifteen special editions of it on VHS and LD before making the DVD in the year 2015 (which is Lucas' plan for Star Wars, basically).</div>

<div style='font: 10pt papyrus, Modern; text-align: left; padding: 0% 7% 0% 7%; '>Beta WAS better quality... in 1985. Compare it to VHS VCRs today. So who cares?</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS", Modern; text-align: left; '>Still better. I was just in the broadcast department this morning. Holy cow....this beta tape is like DVD quality. Of course, this is the professional kind.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt Modern; text-align: left; '>Beta is still way better. Media groups (like TV news stations) use Beta over VHS and have since forever.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial, Modern; text-align: left; '>Yah, exactly. Take a Beta and a VHS from the same time (1990's) and the Beta will be better (since they don't make cheapass consumer Beta anymore).</div>
