<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>As many of you know the idea of the reisdent evil movie has been kicked around quite a bit. The other day i started playing RE again and thought that it would be a bad idea to have actors play the parts. I would much rather see something like FF: Spirits within (But with an actual story thats good). I can't see the vison of a live actors playing the parts, it make me weep when i think about it.

I just wondering what your thoughts are:
Would you like to see actors play the roles (OR)
See something like the FF movies only with a kick ass story and awesome computer generated zoombies and a big fucking tyrant of some kind =)</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>CG would of course be awesome, it's all about the actors, and right now, we're looking at live action nobodys in the Resident Evil movie.....bah.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>They could easily make a terrific movie with live actors. Hell, they COULD have done so even with the movie for "Doom." But the question is "will they?"</div>

Paul Anderson's (Event Horizon, SOLDIER) directing, so I can almost guarantee the movie will suck a million dicks.

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>As for your CG/live actors question, the prospect of computer-generated zombies doesn't do much for me. I'd rather have a George Romero film (carefully supervised, so we don't wind up with another Day of the Dead) with splatter master Tom Savini handling the make-up. There should be lots of funny scenes with Mexican zombies riding carnival rides in an amusement park while wearing sombreros. And while it's too much to expect an unrated release, the film should warrant at least a very, very gory 'R.'

But none of this cool shit will ever happen, because Capcom replaced Romero with Anderson because--get this--Romero's script wasn't TRUE TO RESIDENT EVIL. Fuck you, Capcom. At least Romero's vision had the original characters. Now you're stuck with Anderson, who not only isn't keeping ANY of the game's cast, he's twisted the plot so that the virus is the result of some fag supercomputer named RED QUEEN.

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>I just read the original script......it sucked. :P It used the original characters, but it was to Night of the Living Deadish.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>It's alright for a first draft. Romero's always had a problem with dialogue, though. (He really needs to cut down on those ellipses. That's bad form.)</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>It still had some issues(Barry was black), I mean with a game like Resident Evil, it's not hard to convert to the big screen, problem is directors don't feel like playing through the game or listening to somebody that has. X-men is another good example, only difference is it turned out pretty good.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I would have gone with Romero's scipt. The guy knows zombies, not to mention he used the original characters. I have a problem with the movie being called Resident Evil if there's no connection to the games at all.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt Plakatbau; text-align: left; '>Really? They copped out on actual effective psychological horror and just went for flashing a bunch of scary images. Lame. And what about the ending? Good? Bad? Sloppy filmmaking.</div>
