<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>It's because most of us grew up with them. We tend to become biased in favor of our childhood movies.</div>
This is true. But try and argue that the acting in the prequels is as good as (don't even mention better) the original trilogy, or that the direction and scripts are better, I'll laugh in your face.

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>But all things considered, I think that if you take away all the legendary status and nostalgia value afforded to the original trilogy you're left with three decent, but extremely overrated movies.
I'm a big scifi/fantasy fan and I do like Star Wars, but I really don't think the Trilogy is as spectacular as it's often made out to be. The first three definitely beat Phantom Menace in my book, but Attack of the Clones is still my favorite so far.</div>

Hayden had to act as an immature celibate space samurai....somewhat hard to do. Anyway, he looked to scrawny. Should have gotten a buff stud like me to make out with Natalie! =8^D</div>
