Just saw Bourne Identity. Not bad, but not overly special, just an average flik. I was expecting a little more considering it was supposed to be a pretty good book

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>If I was to rate the last five "big" summer movies, it would be (outta 10):

1 - Bourne Identity: 8.5
2 - Minority Report: 8.0
3 - Men In Black: 7.0
4 - Mr. Deeds: 3.0
5 - Sum of all Fears: 7.0 minus 7.5 for casting Ben Afflek = -0.5</div>

Exactly what stunning plot twist, special effect or intersting story did the version of SOAF you watch have?

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I leave out 'acting' of course...since you've admitted the SOAF you watched starred Afflek...

Honestly though, what was good about that movie? Out of all the Jack Ryan flicks, this was easily the worst...

Maybe I would have found it more engaging if I was American?</div>

lol, I'm saying BI wasn't all that good... the plot twists were... not really there and the plot itself was dumb

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>Our agent has gone missing; ohh wait, there he is: KILL HIM!! Why the fuck are you trying to kill your top agent? Anyone think to try to walk up to him calmly and nonthreateningly and just takl to him?? Of course not, then you wouldn't have a movie</div>

I saw it through the magic of the internet like a week ago.....

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>You think Patriot games was better than the Sum of all Fears? I wouldn't complain about Ben Affleck in Sum of All Fears with Harrison Ford in the last two movies, he's almost old enough to be Jack Ryans grandfather.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>lol. Personally, I'd put both Minority Report and Bourne Identity as 7.0, which is average for me (for the films I'll actually see). Once I see the others, I'll see if I agree with you</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm finding that's a problem with a lot of the films now. Any hint at American patriotism and it's overblown all to hell. Before, it used to be confined to war movies, which I can understand, but not anymore</div>
