Red Dragon is one of the funniest films of the year, and I'm not being tongue-in-cheek. Watch it now. The wheelchair scene alone is worth the price of admission.

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>I saw Red Dragon back in Manila in the 80's. In the US, it was titled "Man Hunter". Directed by Michael Mann(who also directed Last of the Mohicans and the Miami Vice series)</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>*rubs eyes...yawns* I just got back from the 1am movie. That was good. Fienes was not scary enough compared to the original. Edward Norton, great actor....was a little too wimpy for this role compared to the original guy. Hopkins....stole the show. Better suspense than the origina, IMO.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I liked it. It wasn't as good as Silence of the Lambs but was better as Hanniibal. Predictable ending though and one that hurts what they spent 2 hours building quite a bit. It woulda been MUCH better without the extra "twist" at the end</div>

Well....yeah.....expected. (major spoiler)

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>The body left at the Tooth Fairy's house was obviously not the Tooth Fairy's. And so I knew that was not the end. In the original, I don't recall seeing him set the house on fire....so I knew it was ending differently. The action at the end was done well, IMO. He saw his son pee in this pants and that helped remind him of the Tooth Fairy's past which helped the detective bring down the Tooth Fairy psycologically.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Oh, I really like the movie, don't get me wrong, and there was some great elements in "the twist", but I REALLY wish it wasn't there, it woulda been perfect. Same with the cameo you REALLY wanted at the end of the film, that woulda been classic IMO</div>
