Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that in North America The Two Towers has surpassed the Fellowship of the Ring in sales. It reached the point that The Fellowship of the Ring did in less than half the time period.

Analysts believe this will be the second movie to surpass the world wide billion dollar mark, and it's well on its way to doing just that.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I was paying plenty of attention and caught that my first time through. What fucking killed me was:

1) It was because of the fucking kiss that he was resurrected inside the Matrix (if you look carefully, he's not dead in real life)
2) The ENTIRE film was just about him becoming The One. There was all this cool background story that they just threw away.I wanted to see all that (and not in the sequels)

The first one is just unacceptable, period. The movie was way too cool to have such a lame fucking formulaic thing added to the ending. The second should be remedied with the sequels, but this movie wasn't LotR or Star Wars Ep 1, no one ever knew there was gonna be another</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>He was dead in real life. He flatlined. I think all the kiss did was wake him up, a human connection to get his brain to respond, to understand the difference between physical contact in the real world and contact in the Matrix. As soon as he got up, I think that lack of complete submersion in the Matrix world gave him control over it.

Of course, I'm probably reading waaay too much into it. Yes, the initial reaction of "the kiss" was annoying, but any action of "Neo the Bad Ass Muthaphuker" in the next two movies will MOOORE than make up for a two-minute scene, anyway.</div>
