Did anyone else watch Children of Dune?

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Very impressive. Definitely much better than the original Dune miniseries (I watched it on Sunday). The acting and special effects still have that TV miniseries-ish, not-quite-movie quality but that's to be expected. I was surprised to see that they covered the second book (Messiah) as well as the third (Children), though I suppose that makes sense. It's been a while since I've read the second and third books, but it seemed like they covered the plot rather well - there's not much that I remembered from the books that wasn't brought up in the movie.
My only complaint is that they omitted Ghanima's self-induced hypnosis. In the book the twins were a bit more in charge of the situation with the Laza tigers and Leto's quest to Jacarutu. Ghanima knew where Leto was but had to implement a special form of hypnosis on herself so that she could stand before the Bene Gesserit truthsayer (another part they left out, if I remember correctly).
Also, they use an abbreviated version of the Litany Against Fear. David Lynch did this too. I wanna hear the whole thing for once, dammit! Is that so much to ask? It's not that long : )</div>
