<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>Maybe it's that others think that YOU have bad taste in music.</div>

..and that's exactly why all the bands I like end up selling over 10 million albums, right?

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Seriously, I know you (like a lot of people here) have some sort of social issue where you hate everything that's popular, but that doesn't give you a right to bash on good music.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Take heart in the fact that you musical taste mathematically coiencides with boys aged 11-17 and girls aged 10-16.

Yeah, that's the definition of good music taste...

Yes you do...different name, same game. You are a chart whore and as long as they sell a lot of CDs, they are a quality band...you said so. Pick up a Spice Girls CD...I'm betting you'll like it.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Nah, I usually start listening to bands before they get popular. Also, sorry to say, but if you think Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, and the Backstreet Boys are the same genre as Nirvana, 50 Cent, and the White Stripes then you just have a really bad ear for music.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>I remember you said you first heard TATU because it was played at a club. Unless this was a club in Russia, they were already popular at that point.</div>

People flocking to a product has much to do with the hype that product has gotten. Being popular is a self-reinforcing effect.

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>Popularity can not be a measure of quality because it's impossible to remove the effects of advertising, free or otherwise.

Crappy products can be popular. Hence, quality does not necessarily follow from popularity.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>They play a lot of stuff at clubs that never gets popular, it's up to the DJ's. Besides, I think I first started liking the song back in October, it didn't hit the top 200 until late January or February.</div>

If people don't like a product, they're not going to buy it. I don't listen to any country music, so no matter how hyped a country music album gets, I'm not going to buy it.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Personally I think you sound very foolish by saying that I only like music because it's "hyped". Usually music gets hyped because a lot of people like it in the first place.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Heh, please, Seeker. You don't have any special, extraordinary ability to have found all these bands "before they made it big". Just because you have your ear to the ground for new bands that are quickly rising in popularity doesn't mean you're somehow "discovering" them.</div>
