<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I have every 2 Skinne J album ever released now. Home grown in STL, they're basically white boy hip-hop, and they do a good job. I mean, who else can rap about Star Wars? Now, a lot of their songs I really didn't care for, but certain songs like "Inside my Room" and "Riot Nerd" were fucking awesome songs. The best album they have is "Sexy Karvate". A song some of you may like, or dislike, or just laugh at is "Friends don't let friends listen to Rap Metal." Couple other songs on this album stick out, like "Change the World" and "Next Big Thing." "Riot Nerd" is not on the ablum, but it's on "Volumizer" and their live album.

"Golden Age of Grotesque" I'm not sure what to think of it... "mObscene" is pretty cool the first couple times you listen to it. The cheerleader reference is ok for awhile, I guess he's got something against cheerleaders and highschool, that seems to be his theme for the past few singles he's released now. Anyway, the rest is basic Marylin Manson, I want to eat your babies, rape your virgin daugthers and play in their blood, kind of offensive demeaning shit. Most of his song titles are plays on words, which makes it kind of interesting, like "Slutgarden" maybe a reference to Kindgergarden? "(s)Aint", I'll leave that one up to you all. "Para-noir" a play on Paranoid. That song is ok, starts off with a dominatrix narration that reminds me a bit of some of the KMFDM songs that came out back in the day, and also Lords of Acid. I have to admit, for being one of the most obscene musicans, his writing sucks you in and causes you to think. Most of the techniques he's using are the same ones I was taught in college this semester in my advanced composition class. I'm not sure whether that's a good thing that I can identify them or a bad thing that I know what he's trying to accomplish in using them. Oh well...it's ok.

"Good Mourning" by Alkaline Trio starts off with "This Could Be Love" which as a funny little chours line. Other songs I recommend are "Continental". "All in Black" kind of plays on the what's black, white and red all over joke, which is kinda cool. The song that really sells the album is "If We Never Go Inside". I like how the vocalists switch off, offering two different styles of music to be preformed by one band. It's a nice contrast. I've got their other albums, but I just haven't had time to check them out. "Blue in the face" the last track on the ablum is pretty fucking tight too.</div>
