Metal fans, check out these two songs.

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>They're by <a href=http://www.darkesthour.cc/>Darkest Hour</a>, a metal/hardcore band from Virginia. The band's music has some faults: the singer sounds like he's gargling gravel, and sometimes they lose their beat, but if you can get over that, they produce some excellent material. These two songs are two of the best from their new album. Seriously, check them out. This band is one of the reasons I'm initially dissapointed with the new Metallica album - melody. Darkest Hour is heavy but with melody, which it seems Metallica has lost.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Sound like a typical white power skinhead band from the southern US. Cheesy as hell, screaming instead of singing, and playing a droning beat that sounds like Metallica before they could play (and falls very short of it at that). They're absolute shit. Maybe skinheads will like it.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>How many white-power skinhead bands have you heard? Here's my opinion: The lead singer sounds like he's barfing/crying/screaming at the same time, but I know that's the "crusty" style. The music is pretty good but there's a little too much cheezy metal riffing going on.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Umm, hardcore isn't a specific music genre and when people talk about hardcore in reference to music, they're usually refering to hardcore rap. That band certainly isn't hardcore rap or punk. But yeah, that kind of metal is all that those Skinhead gangs in Southern California ever listen to.</div>

In the interest of time, I'll ignore the Black Flag remark, suffice to say Nirvana is a shitty version of The Meat Puppets and The Pixies. Kupek said no one has a trademark to the term, not whatever you said up there.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>In any case, the term hardcore was first used in the early 80s to describe really hard punk music. From there hardcore evolved to speed metal. The term hardcore referring to rap, only came about in the late 80's/early 90s.</div>
