<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>Alien and Aliens were the only ones worth it. And the greatest box set was Indiana Jones. GREATEST EVAR!</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The greatest box set of all time is the 007 three volume box set, which I have already bought. I didn't like the Alien movies at all, not my style of movie.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Basically, it was one of those movies that just acted as a filler as an explanation to why Ripley came back. God only knows why there's never been a 5th movie, Mrs. Sigourney Weaver is bout it.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I meant in terms of features as much as the films. In the Alien one, there's 2 separate cuts from each film on top of a ridiculous amount of extras.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Yes, but you're crazy...the first two are among the most popular sci-fi films of all time</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I actually liked the 3rd more than the 4th. I didn't think the 3rd was the disaster everyone said it was</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The Matrix series was about 10 times more popular, and I didn't like that either, your point?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Matrix is new, that's why it's more popular now. In the long run, you'll see that Alien 1 and 2 will far surpass the Matrix films, although #1 will be popular</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Who or what says the Alien movies have more staying power than the Matrix ones? It's not a logical assumption at all, obviously the Matrix movies appeal to WAY more people or else they wouldn't be so popular.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Comparing The Matrix to Aliens, is like comparing Mario to Crash Bandicoot. Shit's popular for a while, then it dies down big time, and the classic still reigns surpreme.</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm not commenting on whether the Aliens movies are better than The Matrix ones. I was just interpreting for Sine. The only way we'll know for sure is to wait a few years and see which has the highest longevity.</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's my prediction, but who knows how popular the Matrix movies will stay.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>They should have followed the comic book version that took off from teh 2nd movie. Newt was grown up and the one hunting down the creatures. She basically took Ridley's place.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Crash is hardly a classic. Mario was probably even more than 10 times as popular as Crash, and which game is it that everyone remembers?</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm saying when Crash came out, people were serious dick riding the 3D graphics, sound and gameplay, but it died down, Mario is still a classic.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Mario is much better known than Crash Bandicoot because Mario was always WAY more popular. Mario 64 absolutely destroyed the Crash Bandicoot games in sales.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Not at all. The series has always been about the intertwined destiny's of Ripley and the Alien, right from the beginning of the second film. It was a theme they followed through right to the fourth. There are no other recurring characters other than Bishop for a reason</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Nah, I much preferred the tragic, intertwined destiny thing. The third took the film back to its roots (pure suspense instead of action/suspense). I loved the 2nd (my fav), but the series just isn't an action series</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>He is? What I'm saying is that Matrix is 10 times more popular than Alien ever was, and Mario was 10 times more popular than crash ever was, it goes back up to my first message in the thread and Zeus saying I'm crazy for not liking the Alien movies or something =P</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Times New Roman"; text-align: left; '>I think that's more dependent on the director's vision than anything else. I know if Cameron had his way Newt, Bishop and that other guy wouldn't have died in the first 5 minutes. That just seems like a waste when you consider how Aliens ended, with all of them journeying together.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I think you're overestimating the lasting power of the Matrix (popularity is already starting to come down) and underestimating the popularity of the Alien movies. Fox has made INSANE amounts of money off the series. The Quadrilogy came out for a reason</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's exactly why it was so tragic and worked so well with the series' direction of the tragic destiny of Ripley and the alien</div>
