Interview with Paul Andererson on Alien vs Predator...I liked what I heard, I really really like what I'm hearing from him, but damnit he made Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil, two movies that aren't exactly inspire me with confidence.

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>for video game movies they were very repectable. name any other video game movie that's even remotely as watchable</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Those two are widely considered the best video game movies by far. And if Resident Evil is any indication of what's to come, I think AvP might turn out better than my admittedly low expectations</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Then compare oh say....True Lies to Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil, which would you prefer?</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Mortal Kombat is good by virtue of its cheery campiness. Resident Evil isn't anywhere close to being good. Verdict: Paul Anderson is an idiot.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I wasn't an enormous fan of Mortal Kombat, but it was the best game movie 'til Resident Evil, which I loved. True Lies still rules, a bit better than Evil. But I thought Evil was excellen</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>it wasn't excellent but for a movie based on a game it was. I mean the 2 of them were actually fun movies and I think he may be able to do something with the avp. although they could get someone better and I wish they had</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>You loved Resident Evil, the movie???? And then you recommend that the movie The Last Samurai should be a rental? Send your picture to Pictionary.com and tell them to put it under "Bad Taste".</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Dances with Samurai is just not worth the money to go see it in the theatres. Not a bad film, just not worth $13 Cdn</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Well, then, if you're so serious, why don't you actually pay attention to the overall movie taste rather than focusing on just the 20% we're in disagreement with. You'll ee that I agree with most on movies about 80% of the time, including you</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>I know it's all a matter of opinion but in this case, I think you're trying too hard to be a critic and ended up stuffing yer foot in yer mouth when you say : RE = great, Last Samurai = rental??????</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Please don't impugn the fine word "critic" by applying it to anyone who prefers Resident Evil to The Last Samurai.</div>

When I look back at all of the horrible VG movies of the past (like Street Fighter, Mario Brothers, Tomb Raider), I consider the Resident Evil movie a fucking masterpiece.</div>
