Here's a couple of movies I haven't asked about yet: King Arthur and Alexander. What do people here think of these?

<div style='font: 10pt Tahoma; text-align: left; '>KA is jumping on the fantasy/medieval bandwagon that is popular now. It may be good, but i'll wait until video. Like Troy, there are also many forms and interpretations of the myth, the movie, inherently, wont make everyone happy.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm not keeping my hopes up after Troy. So essentially I think they're going to suck. What's next, Charlamagne? They'll probably get Orlando Bloom to star as Orlando, he'll barely be able to pick up the sword Durandal =P</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>King Arthur looks kind of shitty, but I'll see it for Ioan Gruffudd (Horatio Hornblower) and Keira Knightley (drool). Speaking of which, has anybody here seen the Horatio Hornblower movies on A&E?</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>Oh, and the trailer I saw for Alexander was short and not very impressive. But with Stone directing, I'm sure I'll like it. Not too big on Colin Farrell, though.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>HH is cool, but I mainly just love the way the officers are always saying his name. "Mista Ho-anblowAH!"</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>King Arthur sucked, and like I said before, if you're gonna name a movie after the fucking Devil King, you'd better better make sure it's GREAT! Extreme pun intended. :P</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I have not seen it myself, but I just heard from someone a little while ago that it was really bad.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It wasn't terrible but the script was so dumbed down it was almost laughably bad</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>When Jerry Buckfucker presents the "true story of King Arthur", I stay away. I knew it was going to suck hard from the previews. Looks like I'm right.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>That aspect of it is silly, but I found it entertaining. It's different from most King Arthur stories you've seen or heard.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>That's the problem....the acting in it was actually pretty good it's just thyat it's not something you should be able to do with a PG-13 rating and you could tell all the crap he changed to keep it at a lower rating. It's script was like a disney movie</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It doesn't bear any semblance to the legend. Where did the Excalibur come from? Where's the other Knights of the Round?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I liked it, but it's like a Moby Dick movie where Ahab killed the whale and returned home safely. It might be good, but it's not the same story.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Look, if it's going to be fiction, call it fiction. Don't lie to me and call it "the true story of King Arthur".</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>... that was rather the point. The movie is not a masterpiece, but it helps to approach it on its own terms. It tries to be a "realistic" version of something that could have actually happened.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>That bothered me too, and it made the beginning of the trailers feel very silly. But I got over it.</div>
