They are trying so hard for the noire look, that I was annoyed. Or maybe I was just extremely let down after Trey Parker and Matt Stone's panel and clips for Team America: World Police. Probably a bit of both...</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The whole "planes plus giant mechanical monsters in an alternate 1930's-style universe" reminds me a LOT of Crimson Skies. I'll wait until after I see some reviews so I don't go ruining my good memories of CS if the movie sucks.</div>

At Comic-con the whole thing seemed really dark and I very nearly went to sleep...The commercials are easily twice as good as any of the 18 minutes I saw...which could mean anything. :)</div>
