<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Never have I seen a film in the theaters that touched me as this one did. First off, Braff is an amazing writer and director who should win some sort of academy nomination at the least if not an award for his own preformance in this film. I think a lot of movies now have linear characters within them. What I mean is that the characters personality doesn't really change, or you don't see a significant change in their personality by the end of the film (though there are a few exceptions to this as I sat and thought about it for a bit). Regardless, none of them underwent such a change as Largeman did in the film. From this quiet, disconnected individual, to a witty guy spitting comebacks to his asshole friend towards the end of the film. My favorite line went something like "I don't tease you for being an asshole." or something like that. It made me think of all the dumb shit I used to do, and on occasion still stumble and do and then I thought of how I could throw it back in their face just for a laugh and he did it in such a sutble, yet elegant way that I just can't remember. Anyway, I want to go see this film again but unfortunatley it won't be seen in cape until it hits DVD because Cape is full of back-water people who could give two shits less about good cinema (except the people who work at the local blockbuster. I've found them to be quite entertaining). Natalie Portman can finally act! Thank you! This little, cute bud has finally blossomed into a beautiful and full rose. This, after a long drought of films since The Professional, and she's in another film called Closer, which I will have to see, not really for her, but Julia Roberts is in it as well.

So, Garden State. Go see it, then see it again. And if you're lucky, bring a girl with you. I was the only person to not see this film with a girl at the theater (9 people showed up for the last showing of the night). Do it now!</div>
