Yep, it's official.  Lost is the best new show since 24 showed up.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Everyone it seems is praising that show. I'll have to watch it this weekend when I can get back home (got the pilot on the comp)</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>Absolutely. (Though I do wish they'd tell us what Kate did that was so bad already. I hate the X-File-esque dragout of that plotline...)</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I guess we'll know for sure whether it's like "The X-Files" if we're still waiting to find out after seven years.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>If it's like X-files, by the seventh year, the original storyline will have been proven possibly false 7 different ways and proven possibly correct 8 different ways while in the end leaving us exactly where we were before, only with more confusing details...not that I'm bitter.....</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I've found that the key to best enjoying the X-Files is to watch the first four seasons in their entirety and cherry-pick the non-mythology episodes up until season seven. The trick then is to ignore everything afterwards.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>Not a bad strategy. I always forget just how good X-files used to be until I see eps from those first few seasons. It was easily Soprano's level if not better...</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>It was more like Sliders or Millenium in the beginning, some great eps, some poor ones. I actually liked the way they handled the conspiracy thing, which is why it was a better show overall than the others</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>I don't put Sliders anywhere near X-files or even Millenium. Season 2 of Millenium (when Morgan and Wong, the best writers for X-files, took over) was as good as any season of X-files or any other show. Season 1 was blah, and season 3 was also blah....Season 2 was magic....</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Sliders sucked from day one. Jerry O'Connell for one. Thank god he will forever be known as Joe from Joe's Apartment and the guy from Kangaroo Jack.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The first ep was great, as were some of the other eps from Season 1. It started to fall apart after the prof kicked it. They started again good when they introduced the Cro-Mags (they needed continuity) but that died quickly</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I was referring to the beginning (ie. Season 1). It was an inventive show when it started, just lost it quickly</div>
