Since I'm hopelessly addicted to the show and I know there's at least 4 or 5 others watching it, time for a Naruto poll....

Who is your favourite "good" guy?

Might sound lame, but it's Naruto. He recently took over from Kakashi (latest arc with Jiraya/Tsunade). They've done an excellent job with him actually growing up, learning, while all the while keeping him the same hyper-active, ambitious, egotistical, and fiercly loyal guy he's always been. His character grows and grows with each battle he's in.

Who is your favourite "bad" guy?

This one is hard, but I have to go with Orichimaru. He just edges out Zabuze and Gaara. He is the main enemy and has been for quite a while now, but he's so badass.

Who is your favourite "good" supporting character?

I'm a huge fan of Jiraya. Kakashi only recently turned into a supporting character, so I'm not so sure he qualifies. And I like Rock Lee, but who doesn't?

Who is your favourite "bad" supporting character?

It's been a while, but I still think it's Haku. Great character. Only bad thing is he didn't last long. Kabuto's character hasn't developed too much, otherwise he could be up there.

What is your favourite story arc?

Oh, the Battle for Konoha, no doubt. For a while, it was the Chuunin's third exam prelims, but that just freakin' ruled.

What is your favourite battle?

Very close one here, but I'm partial to the Rock Lee/Gaara one, just edging out the Team 7/Zabuze-Haku one. I'm too recent to the Naruto/Gaara fight - which is my current fav - and the Orichimaru-Third ones to rank them fairly. Over time, one of those might be my fav.

Can Naruto kick Sasuke's ass?

Right now (ep 90)? No doubt about it, even Sasuke knows that. I think eventually you'll see both as Saanin's

Will Sakura ever be anything but a burden?

I hope so, she's starting to annoy me a little. They need to make her useful or just make her go away. She's my least favourite right now and the series has outgrow her.

Which is your favourite intro/outro?

Not sure of the name, but I like the second ones, the one that played during the second round of the Chuunin exam, the heavy-rock one. Both the intro and outro for that ruled.

How many episodes will this series run?

If they keep going at the breakneck pace they're going on now? Forever, I hope. But I can't imagine too many more than 200. The Orichumaru story with his clan might be neat, but they either need to come up with something huge (ie. village warfare) or just go out with a bang. In the beginning, it really did look like it was going to be Narutoball Z, but then the storyline took over quite well. I just hope they don't try to stretch it.

Will there be a spin-off series?

If there is, it had better be up to the quality of this one. And with the show's popularity, you just know there's gonna be one....

Well OOOKKKKKAAAAYYYY!!!

Who is your favourite "good" guy?
Naruto. He's funny. And he's a genius...sort of....a little....well when he's not being an idiot. He's just likable. lol
Who is your favourite "bad" guy?
Most Shinobi aren't bad guys to begin with, they just have jobs to do, the only ones who are bad that are those who are selfish, and do things to gain power without thinking about others. Sasuke's brother Itachi is pretty damn bad, he's awesome. Orichimaru has been crippled, he's evil but there's nothing about him I hate. What Itachi did to Sasuke is having these long lasting effects and coinciquences on all the characters.
Who is your favourite "good" supporting character?
Shikamaru, you have to wait until the chunin team arc, it's coming up though, you'll see why I like this kid. He's the smart ninja with the shadow capture technique btw.
Who is your favourite "bad" supporting character?
Pfft are you kidding? Kabuto hands down. He's Orichimaru's right hand man, and he could probley take out Orichimaru if he wanted.
What is your favourite story arc?
You haven't seen it yet, but the chunnin team arc is the best in the series.
What is your favourite battle?
Naruto vs Sasuke. :) Followed by Garra vs Naruto.
Can Naruto kick Sasuke's ass?
Right now (ep 90)? No doubt about it, even Sasuke knows that. I think eventually you'll see both as Saanin's
Heh, you'd like to think that wouldn't you?
Will Sakura ever be anything but a burden?
I hope so, she's starting to annoy me a little. They need to make her useful or just make her go away. She's my least favourite right now and the series has outgrow her.
The latest chapter, 236 has her being Tsunade's apprentice. Medical Ninja, it works out the same. Jiraya = Naruto, Oricihmaru = Sasuke, Sakura = Tsunade.
Which is your favourite intro/outro?
Fighting Dreamers, and the one with the all the girls in bathing suits.

There's no end in sight for Naruto, it's WAY too popular. It's not as repetitive as Inuyasha, or predictable which means it'll last a long time. One Piece is already well over 200 episodes and they still haven't found the last 5 crew members.
Will there be a spin-off series?
That's rare in the anime/manga world......Bloody North Americans with their silly ideas....

Who is your favourite "good" guy?

Ugh. Do I really have to pick between Naruto and Sasuke? I'm gonna just split the difference and say Kakashi. Not only is he the sickest jounin Hidden Leaf Village has to offer, but he can easily move between being deadly serious and hilariously funny.

Who is your favourite "bad" guy?

Orochimaru is awesome. I love the rapport between him and all the other "old hands" of Konoha ("I see you still haven't found a cure for your stupidity, Jiraiya"). Itachi is also fantastic.

Who is your favourite "good" supporting character?

Rock fucking Lee. When he first dropped those weights I think I almost cried.

Who is your favourite "bad" supporting character?

I'm with Eric - Kabuto takes the cake. Not just any asshole gets to be Orochimaru's right hand man. When you can make Kakashi question his own abilities you know you're no kind of joke. Plus that part in the intro where he's fighting all the Naruto clones is priceless (especially that very last dodge).

What is your favourite story arc?

So far each new one has surpassed the previous one, so it's hard to say. I'd really like to know what's up with this bullshit going on in the anime right now though. As far as I can tell, they just made it up to waste time, because the manga doesn't lose any steam after the return of Tsunade.

What is your favourite battle?

I haven't read the entire manga, but speaking in terms of the anime, and in chronological order:

- Kakashi vs. Zabuza (best backfist ever!)
- Sasuke vs. Orochimaru (I show this one to the foolish people I meet who don't know about Naruto yet)
- Lee vs. Gaara (*orgasm*)
- Naruto vs. Neji (so triumphant)
- Sarutobi vs. Orochimaru (you finally see what it means to be a -kage level ninja)
- Tsunade & Jiraiya vs. Orochimaru & Kabuto (not to mention Naruto vs. Kabuto and Bunta vs. Manda!)

Can Naruto kick Sasuke's ass?

Not for long.

Will Sakura ever be anything but a burden?

I haven't read ahead in the manga, but I assumed she would end up a great medical specialist like Tsunade. Since Naruto and Sasuke are essentially mirrors of Jiraiya and Orochimaru. Still, she could stand to do a bit more, I agree.

Which is your favourite intro/outro?

Fighting Dreamers is an awesome song. Plus they throw in a whole bunch of fighting between the characters around ep. 90 or so. I like the first one too. I don't really care much for any of the outros.

How many episodes will this series run?

Part of what makes this series so great is that its focus is expansive rather than concentrated. Obviously our attention is directed toward Naruto, but one gets the feeling that we could also see Sasuke as a main character, or Konohamaru, or we could have come in 20 years earlier and followed Kakashi's trials and travails, or 40 years earlier and followed the stories of the original Sannin. The series is about the world and characters Kishimoto has created moreso than a linear plot with a distinct starting and ending point. In that sense, it's hard to say when it can or should end...I will say this though: given Naruto's current popularity (which is not only enormous, but growing exponentially as we speak), I think it's a safe bet that the series will keep going on long after it's worn out its welcome. Naruto GT, anyone?

Will there be a spin-off series?

Joni Loves Orochimaru? Nah. It'll never fit on a marquee, love.

I actually didn't like the Tsunade/Orichumaru/Jiraya/Kabuto fight very much, the Fifth really disappointed me and they seemed to waste a lot of time, kinda like the first Zabuze-Team 7 fight
