25th Hour is one of the best films I've ever seen.  Ed Norton is a master and his supporting cast and the direction of Spike Lee are phenominal.  See this film.

I thought it was a good film, but I wasn't blown away. One thing I liked...

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Barry Pepper's character and Rosario Dawson's character kinda having a fling, and the whole thing about telling Ed Norton to get out when he could six months prior. Of course the school teacher and the student was a given, but I thought it was played out nicely.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>My guess was that Lee just saw American History X and thought of Norton. He was great in that movie. Hell, Capt. Sisco was good there, too.</div>
