Napolean Dynamite impressions...

This will spell the end of civilzation as we know it.

I know basically everyone here is a fan of the movie, and so am I. I just thought it was hilarious from beginning to end. You almost have to be a nerd to get most of the jokes, and there's no shortage of that here ;-) Definetely not for everyone, but if you get the jokes, they're great.

OK, so everyone say goodbye to your relatives. You all (basically) agree with me on a movie. The world will end as we know it....

So then that's why we're having such abnormally warm weather here. Quite frankly I'm not a big fan of the movie, but then again maybe I have to watch it again, but that means I have to put off watching Vanity Fare and 25th Hour again till at least Sunday since I have absolutely no time to do anything on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday except watch Family Guy at 10 and go to bed or do homework.

One Film to rule them all, One Film to find them; One Film to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them!

I'm not sure if you watched it with people or not the first time, but imo ND is not a movie that is as enjoyable watched alone.

My friends and I love to quote movies all day. Sometimes we amuse ourselves for hours just quoting our favorite lines. This movie is one of the best quoting movies I have ever seen. :)

I loved it. I've seen it at least 6 or 7 times in the last 2 weeks.

You are correct, I did see it alone. The only things I really found funny were the lines that people have kept repeating, mostly the intro where he's on the bus line and the part about the quesodilla. Nothing else in that movie really struck me as being funny though. Harold and Kumar...now that's some funny shit!

Napolean Dynamite is far superior Harold & Kumar. Not that I didn't find the latter funny, but it was the same old dumb humour that National Lampoon, the Cohen and Farrelly brothers have done better already.

Napolean Dynamite was a different beast. It was surreal in it's ability to give you the viewpoint of a true geek, one who doesn't BELIEVE he is a geek.

Now I have to convince my roomates to watch it. Shouldn't be too hard as the last one I convinced him to watch is now one of his favourite movies ever. The movie? Garden State.

I havent seen either of them. I'll have to get Harold and Kumar on On Demand and maybe ND is in the dollar theater.

Not to mention the Harold and Kumar soundtrack kicks ass, and it has Neil Patrick Harris!
