***Massive spoilers to those who only watch the Anime, don't say I didn't warn you***

Please tell me I am not the only one who waits weekely for the Anime and Manga? The Manga has progessed so much in the last few chapters its amazing.

simply put I am surprised they jumped the story ahead 2 1/2 some years after the whole losing Saske to the dark side. I like how they are showing all the characters older and how some of them have progessed. Naruto trains with Jiraya for 2 1/2 years and is no doubt stronger, and Sakura trains with the 5th hokage, which actually makes her a viable character now. Gaara becomes the sand Kazekage. And all the genin have become chunin (except naruto because he was away training). And 3 have become Jounin even. I love how they are now fighting against Itachi's organization and we see all these story themes coming together.

I am so looking forward to them reintroducing rock lee and seeing if he has trained his drunken fighting technique or if he can open even more gates now.

Anyway manga is so exciting to read each week.

Yeah, the post-timeskip stuff has been very interesting so far. I'm eager to see where Kishimoto goes with it. It would seem that Naruto is pretty sick now, so I'd imagine Sasuke is SIIIIICK. Can't wait to see what's going down in Sound Village. I'm also excited to get some details on Akatsuki's plan, what with all this One-Tail Nine-Tails stuff floating around.

Am I the only one who was kinda dissapointed that we didnt get to see some of the other characters before they left the village though? I was really looking forward to seeing Hinata, Kiba, Chouji, and some of the others now that they are older.

As for the 2 and a half year skip, its possible he did it to give the anime something to do while the manga gets ahead again. Thoughts?

Yeah no doubt. There's more development between Hinata & Naruto in the anime then the manga.

I realize that, but I still would like to have seen her a few years older, she is one of my fave characters ^_^
