I didn't think the Spidey/Doc Ock battles were all that amazing. Maybe I was underwhelmed by them.
It all depends really on how many movies they plan on doing. If they are expecting a 4th, then, imo, they need to work with Venom's backstory and build it up or else, like I said, he becomes just another random guy who fights Spiderman. If they're not sure whether there'll be another one after the 3rd, then sure, go for Venom. Heck, I want to see him in a movie.

And Seeker...I don't know how many times we have to explain this: the Peter Parker from the cartoon is not the geeky, teenage Peter Parker from the comics that these movies are using. In the comics, Tobey Maguire actually fits very well. So, that's a bad comparison. But I do understand your point and I agree that he would be the most interesting villain.
