I hope they're not inspired by the Star Wars Holiday Special (BTW, if you haven't see that, download it; then you'll know why Lucas is such a control freak over all SW stuff :-)

If I had my druthers, they'd make the X-Wing series of books into a TV series of some kind. That's easily 9-10 seasons right there plus spinoffs (Thrawn stuff, "I, Jedi", etc.).
I mean, come on - who didn't think Wedge was cool?
