And I thought it was fantastic. It was just a lot of fun to watch. The animation is really good - of course - but I think the real animation achievement is how well they were able to convey emotion through the characters' faces and bodies. I didn't need the main character to say "I hate my job and I'm bored with my life" in the beginning because his face, body and voice did it for me.

I really enjoyed it as well. Very lovable characters.

Amazingly, Pixar still hasn't found a publishing partner. Looks like Disney's working hard at keeping them.

Doesn't Lucas wish he kept them now? :-)

I find that very very hard to believe. EVERYBODY would pick them up as a publishing partner. It's not like it's a risk buy or anything. I just don't think they are actually accepting bids until the last minute. They still have one more animation to do before they are done with their contract with Disney.

Honestly, I think Pixar is tired of Disney, and won't go back to them. You might even expect some more adult themed movies from them. Hell, Lucas may even grab them back. He's going to be bored after SW3 is done with.
