I really want to know why they think that the solution to everything is banning. It's like if you sneeze the wrong way, they'll put up a new ban rule. I understand trying to make sure they're not hit with bandwidth, but for fuck's sake, they're hosting the only translation to the biggest fucking anime in Japan! It's not like they aren't going to get a ton of fucking bandwidth.

I'd think with Bush signing the law that lets you get 3 years for releasing a single copy of prerelease material you could get whoever's fansubbing to comply pretty easily via blackmailing.

Then again, it'll probably be more likely to get them to not fansub anything at all.

Also, given that you're getting shit a lot of people worked on pretty hard for free, I wouldn't bitch too much.
