"King of Suede" is golden. But so is a lot of his stuff...

And let's not forget "UHF", one of the all-time cult comedy classics...

I LOVE UHF

I just got it again and surprisingly unlike a lot of the movies I loved as a kid it really holds up in adult terms too! It's awesome!

"Now it's time for...Wheel of Fish!"

"Oooooh, red snapper! Very tasty. Now, Miss Weaver, will you take the red snapper...or do you want to go for what's in the box that Tana-san is bringing down the aisle?"

(shouting from the audience follows)

"I'll...I'll take the box!"

"Let's see WHAT'S IN THE BOX!"

(box opens, it is completely empty)

"Nothing! Absolutely NOTHING! YOU SO STUPID!"

Just listened to Ode to a Superhero. He's still got it.

UHF was really funny, and I think he should stick with visual comedy like actoring, instead of his usual albums. Fine, the songs are technically funny, but there only so much that a song can do in terms of comedy. Stand-up is the only audio-only form that comes close, but even then, it's sometimes better to get the visual gags/expressions along with it.
