The Shrine

I have to admit, this filler series isn't too bad. It's not up there with the rest of the show, but it's not horrid either. Up to par with the movie, I'd say. But I would like to see them drop the silliness of Jiraya and Naruto and give Sakura a little more play

Still havent seen this one. Hope to have it soon, but for now getting Tsubasa Chronicle 10 is a higher priority for me.

Just saw 139. Don't look like too many of you are into it, so I'll stop posting my impressions 'til after the filler series is over

I liked 139. Very cool episode, and Orochimaru was in it. That ups the filler by +10.

And Sakura is finally getting a little more play :-)

I think these episodes were designed to make Sakura even more worthless then she already is. ;p Like if you didn't realise it before, now you know for sure.

Probably leading up to her realizing that she needs more training or something.

I just watched 137-139. The last one is definately pretty good.

Speaking of Mr. Evil, I really hope he doesn't fully gain back use of his arms without major repurcussions, otherwise Sarutobi's sacrifice would have been for naught and that jutsu he used won't actually work properly. I mean, he took his arms from his spirit, not his body, when he sacrificed himself. He shouldn't be able to get the use back just because he switched bodies.

I will try to get my hands on the eps when I can. I was out of town till today so downloading didnt erally happen.

Meh who knows. It's a Jutsu that allows immortality lol.

We havent really gotten to see much of Orochimaru in the new story arc, so I dont know, but it looks like he did get the use of his arms back. Think about it, if he didnt, then he would be constantly having to switch bodies otherwise he would break down like he was about to before he switched this time. Just my thoughts.

I think part of it is the fact that he didn't actually take the body of the new host, but is sorta sharing part of his spirit, too. Remember when he first talked to his host before he transferred? He said something like he will still be there and be more powerful than ever. Obvious, Ochi dominates the spirit, but the real host may still be there.

Given that, he may be using his spirit to use his arms. Or something.

Also, while Ochi was able to recover from Sarutobi's damage, it still cost him three years before he could transfer to Sasuke. That's valuable time for Kohona to plan before they would rescue him, or at least lick their wounds.
