Anyone ever see the SNL commercial for the live action Smurfs? Sean Connery was Papa Smurf, and Al Pacino was Grouchy Smurf. I forget who was Hefty and Smurfette.

The big question though, is Smurfette even really a Smurf? She was created by Gargamel, wasn't she? Would she be the equivalent of an android, or artificial human? Could she even reproduce? Is Gargamel God, or possibly Satan with Smurfette as the messiah or antichrist in some giant french metaphor for spirituality?
