The Constant Gardener, one of the best of the summer

Well, I watched the DVD version of Crash last night, and these two aren't comparable, both are great movies, and my two favourite of the summer. Crash is certainly a movie that can be watched multiple times in a week. The Constant Gardener isn't so much that type of film due to its length and slow build up (by slow I mean less action packed, but the story is quite interesting), though it is a film that will definitely have people talking for a while. The Constant Gardener certainly has the better climax; and it is a movie that I am sure the critics will love, and will probably win at the Academy Awards or Golden Globes Drama.

Anyways, I definitely recommend this one. I would rank it tied at #1 with Crash as the best movie of the summer, with Cinderella Man coming in second. Those three are must sees.

I saw crash and I thought it was just downright excellent. I've wanted to see the constant gardener. I'll make a note of that one.

I agree that TCG was good in the sense that it was well written, thought provoking, and very well acted. Plus, it had great musical setting throughout. I won't see it again solely on the fact that I generally go to movies to escape reality, not to be depressed though I'm glad I did see it. :)
