Army Of Me - Remixes And Covers

Man, most of these just really make you say WTF, with just how eclectic this album is. To show my point, I'll list the genres in order:

1. Death Metal
2. Downbeat/Alternative Pop
3. 8-Bit Mixing with a weird vocalist
4. Bluegrass/Country
5. 16th Century Carnival
6. ATARI 2600 Mixing?
7. Accordion
8. Hard Rock
9. Harp
10. IDM
11. Acapella
12. Indie Rock
13. Ambient (sounds Plaid-ish)
14. Shirley Manson wannabe
15. Futuristic Electro
16. Modern Mixing
17. Illbient (Aphex Twin-ish)
18. Electronic Gothic
19. Russian Classical (sort of)
20. NES mixing

Sine, what are some other groups that do IDM? And would you consider the Postal service to be IDM?

Never heard of Postal Service. Other IDM bands would probably be Orbital, Plaid, Aphex Twin, Mocean Worker, Autechre, William Orbit. Intelligent Dance Music is a pretty broad and somewhat undefined category.

When I first started looking for Orbital CDs in used CD stores, I noted the fact that Orbital, The Orb, and William Orbit all do progressive-type electronica.
