I think the beginning of Black Cat is pretty good. Maybe they'll have the Time Guards with more action in the Anime compared to the manga since they didn't do much in the manga except Selphilia.

A more indepth analysis of Black Cat.

At first it starts out pretty random with Train, Stan, and Eve going around catching random guys as bounty hunters. This part is kind of like a combination of Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop. I think in the Anime they're going more into how Train met Minnatsuki Saya (or something) which is a decent story. I like the gunfights at this stage and you get to see some of the cooler things like Train's bullets deflecting bullets and stuff like that.

After that you got the Disciple of the Stars arc where it's Time Guards (the organization Train comes from) + Train against the Disciples of the Stars. Aside from the Train versus insect dude/girl (his/her gender seems to be a mystery of the series) I don't find this too exciting because Train ends up using the worthless Reflect Shot on like every Disciple of the Stars he ran into. Leon versus Eve is the only other worthwhile fight I can recall.

I downloaded the first two episodes and it's totally different from the manga. They're starting the story with how Train met Minnatsuki Saya (the girl in Japanese clothing, I think that was her name) which was largely unexplained until the very end of Black Cat. I don't like the how they've drawn Eve (the young girl) who was the head female attraction of Black Cat but we'll see how it works out. The Faye wannabe girl was of no importance in Black Cat and I don't know how she'll play out in the Anime.

From the intro it looks they got all the important Time Guards (Chrono no Numbers but I like the Chinese adaption, Time Guards, better) beside Xiao Li (#10), and all the disciples of the stars besides the insect guy/girl.

On an unrelated note, you still play WoW Eric?

Yes, I do, my Warrior is something like a beast, switched to protection for my guild.

I have 3 1/2 bags of nothing but armor/weapons/rings/trinkets.
