Been watching some more shows to fill the void

Since I'm regulated to watching all my shows on a weekly basis, I decided to give a few more a shot:

1) Everybody Hates Chris

Not much more I can say then "meh". Not horrible, not hilarious, just there. If I have time to kill next summer, maybe I'll catch up. Right now, I got a lot more shows to try

2) My Name Is Earl

This show is freakin' hilarious. For those of you who don't know anything about it, it's about a petty thief named Earl Hickey who wins the lottery ($100k) then immediately gets hit by a car. He thinks it's karma (hey, Carson Daly invented it!) so he decides to make up for every bad thing he's done. He makes a list (259 items and growing) and decides to take car of one at a time (one or two an ep). The concept is pretty neat and it's just a fun show to watch. Not overly complex but well done. I like it. Of course, it's only been around for 4 weeks, so I'm regulated to that one week-to-week as well

3) Stargate SG-1

Believe it or not, I haven't seen any eps of this show other than the pilot. It was OK, kind of a made for TV direct sequel. I haven't really gotten into the show yet to have an opinion one way or another, but I"ve got 8 years of backlogged shows to see if it's good. Could be promising or completely crappy, I'll have to see.

Since I can't just watch SG-1 on my spare time, I'm going to check out a couple of Canadian shows that I keep hearing about: Trailer Park Boys and Corner Gas. Any shows you guys can think of that came out in the last few years that are good?

My Name is Earl is hilarious. It's rare that I make sure to watch a show every week, but this one is worth it.

The only show I like out of all the ones you mentioned is Trailer Park Boys. But I am not a big TV person, other than Trailer Park Boys and Family Guy, I don't really watch anything.

EDIT:

Yeah, Trailer Park Bows is funny, it's essentially a mock-reality TV show that actually first began before the whole reality TV show thing took off. It follows the lives of three characters mainly whose past times are drinking, dealing drugs, robbery, and other such things. Ricky seems to get shot in almost every episode, and I think they go to jail at the end of every season. Julian, the main character, is rarely seen without a glass of rum and coke. Anyways, this is one of those shows that would get heavily complained about if it were in the US due to all the "immoral" acts.

It's also one of four shows currently running that I have bought DVD sets for (Family Guy, the Simpsons, and Rescue Me)

Yeah, I've been watching My Name is Earl since day one.

Also, the Colber Repor is fucking funny! It's like a total spoof off of the O'Reilly Factor. He's sitting there boosting his ego over and over again, and making fun of Republican thought in general. The Daily Show is actually going to interview Bill O'Reilly tonight, so I can't wait to see that.
