The Shrine

Amazingly, I found this at Blockbuster. It's a Korean movie about a guy who's imprisoned in a room for 15 years without being told who is doing it or why. He eventually gets out and tries to track down whoever did this for revenge. It's violent, disturbing, and there' sex scene that is damn near porn. Of course I loved every minute of it.

I recommend watching the original first, since it'll soon be remade for American audiences.

Yeah. Great movie. Spectacularly fucked up.

I've been trying to get my baby to watch that with me. I heard about it sometime ago. Now I really want to see it.

So we picked it up last night. Wow, all I have to say is wow. She was a bit reluctant to watch it at first when I picked it out at Blockbuster, but 10 minutes in she was like "It's really good!".

They can't remake this into an American film, it just won't go over the same. It'll definitely have a different ending.
