  • Phoenix Wright 3: Trials and Tribulations!

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Capcom has officially announced what many already expected after its beg-for-it-contest; Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations is on its way to North America for September, 2007. The third game in the series offers more of the same to established fans of the DS courtroom drama. Players control Wright as he muddles through cases, and in some points of the adventure game, they play as his mentor, Mia Fey, in the proceedings.

The weird thing is this game was never remade and released for the DS in Japan, but the screens floating around show the same format for the DS games.

Awesome. And we have the 4th in the series to maybe look forward to after that!

Well, I don't need to be sold on any game in this series =)

I'm really looking forward to the third game, the fourth one doesn't star Phoenix Wright either, but the game itself is built from the ground up for the DS. Unless things got delayed, it actually should have been released in Japan the day before yesterday =)

Yeah it was, Phoenix is the prosecutor in the 6th case.

Hahaha, I would KILL you for giving away a spoiler like that, even if the game is probably a year away here =P

Phoenix Wright 4 sold 250,000 copies in its first week in Japan. The series is gaining a lot of momentum now, perhaps this fourth one will hit a million sales worldwide.
