  • Soul Calibur Legends for Wii

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

The latest Famitsu reports that an adventure game, Soul Calibur Legends, is in development for the Wii. So far a lot of information on the game control is still under the cloth but it has been revealed that the game has all of the Soul Calibur favourites playable; though Sigfried will be the main character. I assume the map is that of 16th century Earth, though it is difficult to say given the history of the series.

I personally love the Soul Calibur setting and I really look forward to this game =)

Adventure game.....sounds about right. As intuitive and innovative as the Wiimote is, it also makes ports of fighting games impossible. The only way developers could do it would be to require using the Classic controller instead, but I don't really see that happening. GC controller might work but who the hell wants to play a fighting game using that thing? On the upside, any new fighting games created with the Wiimote in mind (especially ones with weapons) have a lot of potential to be really fun.
