True. I guess that would put an enormous logjam now that they've stopped stalling on sending in the 3-rings-of-death machines.
I'm lucky mine was a relatively minor issue dealing with the port that connects the harddrive to the system.
Hell, even Nintendo, who's been a rock with their hardware since the beginning, is starting to have regular issues with their systems much more frequently. My Crimson DS Lite has one dead pixel (near the bottom right on the touch screen; VERY bad place, you see it clearly every time you turn the system on) and the Wiis have needed system upgrades due to locking and I had an issue with my controller and got a warrantly placement. I think it's a combination of more complex hardware and the cost-cutting measures to try and turn a profit (or decrease the loss) on the hardware.
